The Large Shelter

At the Naharayim site in Gesher there is an original bunker that was used by the members of the kibbutz and the fighters in the War of Independence. We designed the overcrowded bunker rooms according to their original use: a clinic, an armory, a kitchen, a communications room and a resting place for the fighters. In the display we combined testimonies from the members of the kibbutz and sound clips that will illustrate the story of the Gesher men & women's heroism and their victory against all odds.
